The Marcus Foster Education Fund relies on the interest and generosity of those within and beyond the Oakland community to serve the children in the Oakland Public School system.  By working together, we not only help Oakland youth, we create a better future for Oakland.

Since 1973, the Fund has channeled millions of dollars into innovative programs and initiatives for the benefit of Oakland schoolchildren.  Approximately 80 percent of every dollar donated goes directly to student services.  These donations have funded a number of community outreach programs, including grants, scholarships, programs, and awards, which directly benefit students, their parents, and teachers.

Whether you want to contribute time, money, or computer equipment, there's a way for you to help MFEF and the children of Oakland.  We welcome involvement from individuals, businesses, corporations, community organizations, and institutions.
