INTERNSHIPS

The Marcus Foster Education Institute (MFEI) is excited to offer paid internships for local San Francisco Bay Area Junior and Senior college students at our office in Oakland, California. Placements are available for Fall or Spring, and are designed to give interns a first-hand experience working within a unique education research and policy non-profit in the Bay.

During their placement, interns hold an integral role in major projects for the organization. Projects may cover, but are not limited to the following areas: community building and convening, policy research and development, data collection and analysis, communications, and program design and implementation for high school and college aged youth. Interns are mentored to build their skills in writing, communications and research and analysis, and are provided with opportunities to network with leaders in education and other industry sectors across the region.
